Stockport: Arrangements for instalment dispensing of CDs over the September Bank holiday

Message to all Stockport Pharmacies from Stockport Drug and Alcohol Service (0161 716 4000):

Re: Short notice Bank Holiday Monday 19/09/2022 and controlled drug prescriptions.

We have tried to contact you all regarding our contingency plan for closure 19/09/2022 and collection of methadone/buprenorphine on these dates and have altered multiple prescriptions to facilitate this.

All of our prescriptions should contain the wording “Please dispense instalments due on pharmacy closed days on a prior suitable day”, allowing you to dispense a prescription due on 19/09/2022 on the Friday or Saturday before.

If you have any outstanding prescriptions due on 19/09/2022 that you cannot dispense on beforehand, please contact the team on the number 0161 716 4000  before 5pm on Friday 16/09/2022.

The service will be closed on 19/09/2022.
