IMPORTANT REMINDER: EPS Nominations: New briefing and patient leaflet

Following an recent increase in complaints across Greater Manchester about patients’ nominations being moved without their consent, we’d like to remind all pharmacy teams that it is essential that EPS nominations always reflect the patient’s informed choice, and changes are made only at the patient’s explicit request.

To support you, we’ve produced briefing for pharmacy teams which details the steps to take if believe that nominations have been changed without consent.

We have also produced a patient leaflet that can be shared or displayed in your pharmacy to help patients understand how EPS nominations work and what to do if they have concerns.
