Our role
Background Information
- Community Pharmacy Greater Manchester (formerly GMLPC) was formed in 2016
- We are the statutory body representing contractors who provide community pharmacy services
- Our footprint includes Bolton, Bury, Manchester, Oldham, Rochdale, Salford, Stockport, Tameside, Trafford, and Wigan.
Our 12 committee members comprise of:
- 5 independent contractor representatives, elected by their peers
- 2 AIMp representatives (Association of Independent Multiple Pharmacies)
- 5 CCA representatives (Company Chemists Association)
The NHS has a legal duty to consult us on matters affecting pharmacy services.
