The Royal College of Pharmacy Greener Pharmacy Toolkit has been designed to support pharmacies to become more environmentally sustainable and self-accredit their sustainability status.

It enables community pharmacies to assess their impact, benchmark, and improve through evidence-based activities and actions. Actions have multiple co-benefits including reducing costs, staff time savings, patient satisfaction and improving health outcomes. It is a free, easy to use, web-based resource.

What’s included in the toolkit?

The online toolkit consists of three levels (Bronze, Silver and Gold) for pharmacies to complete relating to actions to help reduce their carbon footprint.

Upon completion, you will receive a certificate to recognise participation.
