We’re IPA Awards Finalists!

We’re delighted to announce that Community Pharmacy Greater Manchester has been shortlisted as a finalist in this year’s Independent Pharmacy Awards, in the category of Best Supporting Local Representative Group.

This represents the achievements of our pharmacy contractors and pharmacy teams, who we have supported through an ongoing commitment to adapt our support and ensure we meet their needs, in an ever-changing landscape.

To this end, we’ve:

• Provided hands-on and 1-2-1 approach to our support – conducted 100+ pharmacy visits, hosted weekly Ask the CPGM Team drop-in sessions and made 1000+ contractor calls
• Co-developed GM guidance to support implementation of Patient-Led Ordering – 100,000 more patients a month now order their prescriptions via the NHS App, reducing workload for pharmacy teams
• Delivered three face-to-face Contraception workshops with 120 attendees – our contractors are now delivering over 2,200 consultations a month (GM is one of the top 5 ICBs in England)
