To help you maximise new opportunities and thrive in these changing times we organised a conference, in partnership with lead sponsor Titan. This conference was supported by the GM Healthcare Academy, CPPB (Community Pharmacy Provider Board) and CPPE (Centre for Pharmacy Postgraduate Education)

CPPE – Blood pressure assessment in community pharmacy: essential skills
(This session requires you to complete pre-learning before attending. Pre-learning materials will be sent to you directly by CPPE)
The aim of this learning programme is to enable pharmacy professionals to build the knowledge, skills and confidence to deliver person-centred consultations and clinical assessments as part of the NHS Hypertension Case-Finding Service (HCFS). It includes practical skills training supported by a clinical demonstrator.

Lynette Roberts – Captivating Training Solutions
Lynette Roberts is an award-winning pharmacy training consultant known for blending science with human connection to transform pharmacy education. With expertise in behavioural science, NLP, and mental health, she has trained hundreds of professionals through engaging, practical programmes.
Lynette created ReviveRx, a diagnostic tool and training system helping pharmacies improve performance and profitability currently available for free via CPGM. Lynette also founded a nationally recognised leadership academy for Community Pharmacy PCN Leads, supporting collaboration across primary care and service delivery, including Pharmacy First and Hypertension Case-Finding.
Mehmoona Usman MPharm, MRPharmS, IPresc – CliniLink
Mehmoona Usman is the Managing Director of CliniLink Ltd and an experienced clinical pharmacist with over 15 years across community pharmacy, general practice, and integrated care settings. A qualified Independent Prescriber, she has led on medicines optimisation projects, service development, and workforce training at scale, supporting over 250 GP practices across the UK through educational and consultancy work in her previous role.
At CliniLink, Mehmoona oversees the design and delivery of NHS-aligned clinical education, CPD programmes, and peer-led development pathways.
Rizwan Sattar – CliniLink
Pharmacist with over 20 years of experience across community pharmacy, hospital, and general practice. Rizwan has led pharmacy services within NHS primary care networks, managing multidisciplinary teams and supporting the delivery of structured medication reviews, prescribing clinics, and long-term condition management. He has also held specialist roles, including Respiratory Lead during the COVID-19 pandemic, Structured Medication Review Lead, and Dermatology Lead for over 30 GP practices across Stockport.
Theresa Ho – CliniLink
Theresa Ho is Clinical Director at CliniLink Ltd with over 20 years of experience spanning community pharmacy, primary care, and healthcare system leadership across Greater Manchester. A qualified Independent Prescriber, she is actively involved in prescribing and delivering patient-centred care across multiple GP practices.
At CliniLink, Theresa is driven by a passion to support the next generation of pharmacists, developing confident prescribers and future leaders who are equipped for the evolving demands of the NHS.
Bushra Effendi – Allied Health Training
Bushra Effendi is an experienced pharmacist and independent prescriber with nearly 20 years across the NHS and private sectors. She specialises in women’s health, particularly menopause and contraception and serves on the Clinical Advisory Panel of The Menopause Charity, is a member of the British Menopause Society, and sits on the College of Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare courses and CPD committee.
Abdullah Bhana – Allied Health Training
Senior Clinical lead Pharmacist working at the Arch Medical Practice with a specialist interest in Diabetes and Obesity Management. Completed post graduate clinical diploma in Diabetes and Obesity. Founder of Allied Health Training and Obesity Lead at AHT. National Speaker in Diabetes and Obesity with additional interests cardiorenal metabolic health.
Joanne Nevinson– CPPE

Amul Mistry – CPPE
A pharmacist with over 30 years’ experience. For the past six years, she has been an Education Supervisor for CPPE, supporting pharmacy professionals, as well as pharmacists at the start of their careers or returning to practice. She is looking forward to networking with you and signposting you to resources to support your development. Please come and say hello at the CPPE stand.
Alison Scowcroft -NHS GM
Alison is a community pharmacist with 25 years’ experience in front line pharmacy, business development, LPC and NHS roles. She worked for Co-op and then Well pharmacy for 17 years, with various roles including branch manager, service development, tenders, and contract manager for OPD, prisons and care homes.
