About Luvjit:
Luvjit is a qualified pharmacist who currently works as Director of Strategy and Pharmacy Transformation at Community Pharmacy Greater Manchester.
Luvjit is also the current chair of the GM Community Pharmacy Provider Board and GM Primary Care Provider Board supporting system engagement and transformation in collaboration with wider health and social care partners and the GM ICB across Greater Manchester in workforce development, system engagement and transformation initiatives such as the rollout of the GMCR and GM Live well to develop future models of care delivered through community pharmacies.
Luvjit was awarded a Fellowship of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society in 2017 and completed an MBA from the University of Bradford in 2025.
She was previously the head of LPC engagement and collaboration at Community Pharmacy England, Chief officer of Leicestershire and Rutland Local Pharmaceutical Committee and has also been seconded to NHS Digital to support digitising medicines and pharmacy.
Her role involves advancing community pharmacy working in Strategy and Transformation whilst representing community pharmacists interests’ through collaboration and integration in local systems.
Luvjit has extensive experience working as a community pharmacist also having worked in hospital pharmacy and industry both in the UK and abroad. Her previous roles include head of pharmacy services, head of the Pre-registration Training Programmes and also chairing Warwickshire Local Pharmaceutical Committee.
