About Mohamed:

Mohamed is the Locality Lead for Bury and over the last 15 years has established a chain of pharmacies with over 100 employees. In addition to his role as a Committee Member, Mohamed is also on the AAH Customer Advisory Board.

His experience over the last 15 years has enabled him to develop and refine skills in all aspects of business management and effective leadership, which has allowed him to succeed in a highly competitive and dynamic industry.

In the five years prior to the 2016 merger into Greater Manchester LPC, Mohamed was an LPC member for Bolton, Wigan, Manchester, and Bury. His areas of special interest include project management, risk management and analysis, and financial projection and management.

“I understand the challenges and financial pressures faced within community pharmacy and I have been able to highlight these concerns. Community pharmacy will have to adapt the way it works if it is to prosper again, and more engagement with contractors will be needed to achieve this.”
