About Mohammed:

Mohammed is Treasurer of Community Pharmacy Greater Manchester (CPGM) and the Locality Lead for Tameside. He has over twelve years’ experience working as a manager for a small independent chain and was also a member of the Manchester Local Pharmaceutical Committee for two years before the merger into GMLPC in 2016.

As well as his role as Treasurer and a Committee Member, Mohammed works part time in a pharmacy in central Manchester. His special areas of interest include Service development (Emergency Hormonal Contraception, Minor Ailments service) and Pre-registration pharmacy development.

“I believe communicating with pharmacy contractors on a regular basis as well as working in a pharmacy allows me, and the LPC, to be in touch with the real issues facing pharmacy on a day-to-day basis”.
