EPS prescriptions now live from Pennine Care

Electronic Prescribing (EPS) is now live for outpatient prescriptions across Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust. Outpatient FP10 paper prescriptions have been replaced with electronic prescriptions, which are sent directly to the patient’s nominated pharmacy via the NHS Spine.

Key points to note

• Outpatient prescriptions will now be issued as acute EPS prescriptions
• Patients’ existing nominated pharmacies will remain unchanged, and prescriptions will continue to be sent to their nominated pharmacy
