NMS: Providing the Service Offsite

We’d like to remind our pharmacy owners that as per the Secretary of State Directions which came into effect on 26th October 2025, you are not permitted to subcontract the New Medicine Service (NMS) to third-party, off-site providers.

If you do subcontract NMS in this way, service payments may be recovered by the NHS and you could be found as having breached your NHS Terms of Service. Learn more
