Smoking Cessation Advanced Service (SCS) Update

The SCS service enables NHS trusts to undertake a transfer of care on patient discharge, referring patients to a community pharmacy of their choice to continue their smoking cessation treatment, including providing medication and support as required. The LPC would like to remind community pharmacy teams who are delivering the service that there is no charge to the patient for the supply of NRT.
