Teach and Treat Programme: Submit EOI by 4th June

Are you a community pharmacist currently working in Greater Manchester (GM)?

Would you like to undertake a non-medical prescribing qualification to become a Non-Medical Prescriber (NMP) but have been unable to obtain access to a suitable Designated Medical Practitioner (DMP) or Designated Prescribing Practitioner (DPP) and clinical prescribing environment?

Are you ready to take the next step in your personal and professional development?

If so, there is an exciting opportunity to do this with the support of the North West Teach and Treat programme. This programme will aim to support community pharmacists from across GM to achieve their Independent Prescribing (IP) qualification by providing access to suitable supervisors and clinical environments.

We are inviting expressions of interest (EOIs) from community pharmacists in GM who would like to undertake their prescribing qualification as part of Cohort 2 of this year’s programme.

Please complete this form in its entirety to express your interest.

The closing date for submitting your EOI is 4th June 2026. After this date all received expressions will be reviewed. If capacity remains, further expressions will be reviewed at fortnightly intervals. Your answers will be scored against set criteria, and we will be in touch after the closing date with next steps.
