The committee represents community pharmacy across the ten boroughs of Greater Manchester. They meets regularly and act as the formal decision-making body.
Role:
Janice Perkins is the Executive Chair of CPGM.
Background:
Janice has over 30 years’ leadership experience in community pharmacy. She’s the former Superintendent Pharmacist of Well Pharmacy where she was responsible for patient safety regulatory & professional standards and delivery of the NHS contractual framework and services.

Fin is Managing Director of Prestwich Pharmacy and his role at CPGM involves leading on contractor engagement and workforce development. Fin is also currently the Long-Term Conditions Lead for NHS Bury, working with GPs, other primary and secondary care providers.

Ifti is the Governance Lead for CPGM and has represented contractors’ interests across GM for the last 20 years. In addition, Ifti is Pharmacy Superintendent at Well Pharmacy, A Company Chemist Association (CCA) Director and Community Pharmacy England (CPE) Board member.

Treasurer and Locality Lead for Tameside
Background:
Mohammed has over twelve years’ experience working as a manager for a small independent chain and was also a member of the Manchester Local Pharmaceutical Committee for two years before the merger into GMLPC in 2016.

Background:
Ali brings over a decade of experience as an independent contractor and holds the position of Superintendent at Alamaz Limited. His extensive involvement spans various capacities, including membership in the HSHK LPC and pivotal roles within the Services and Academy subgroups for CPGM. This diverse background has endowed him with invaluable insights into the multifaceted landscape of community pharmacy.

Abdenour is an experience manager support pharmacist for the Cohen’s Group, overseeing the Stockport region. With over a decade of experience as a community pharmacist, he brings strong leadership skills to the table. As an AIMp representative, he actively contributes to shaping pharmacy initiatives.

Locality Lead for Stockport
Background:
Peter is the Locality Lead for Stockport and was previously Chairman of Stockport LPC before the merger into GMLPC in 2016. As well as his role as a committee member, Peter represents CPGM at the Greater Manchester Medicines Management Group (GMMMG) and at the Clinical Reference Group (CRG).

Background:
Aneet is a community pharmacist by background and has been an Independent contractor in Greater Manchester for the last 18 years and is currently the Chair of the Greater Manchester Local Professional Network for Pharmacy.

Background:
Mohamed is the Locality Lead for Wigan and over the last 20 years has established a chain of pharmacies within Northwest.
Prior to the merger of Community pharmacy Greater Manchester, Mohamed was an LPC member for Bolton, Wigan, Manchester, and Bury.

Background:
Helen registered in 1986 and worked with Boots the Chemists initially as a Saturday girl and worked through the company from a pharmacist to manager, various operations and regional roles, District manager throughout small and larger stores. After having two boys, Helen moved to Tesco to lead change in the supermarket format and launch pharmacies in the 100 hour model.

Locality Lead for Manchester
Background:
Jennie is the Locality Lead for Manchester and has experience working in a variety of store and field-based management roles for Boots. Jennie is also a Board Member for Greater Manchester Healthcare Academy (GHMCA) and spends two days a week based at the University of Central Lancashire as a Teacher Practitioner.

Background:
Elliot is a Pharmacy Services Manager for Well Pharmacy, responsible for the provision and delivery of private and NHS pharmacy services across 750+ pharmacies. He was also previously a committee member for CP Staffordshire and Stoke-on-trent, with 6 years service.

Locality Lead for Rochdale
Background:
Wesley is a CCA representative and Chair of the Services Sub Committee for Community Pharmacy Greater Manchester. In addition to his roles at the CPGM, Wesley is Head of Health Research & Outcomes at Boots UK and is also active in other LPC footprints across the NHS North West Region.

Role:
Her role involves advancing community pharmacy in the local NHS whilst representing Community Pharmacists interests through integration.
Background:
Luvjit is a qualified pharmacist who currently works as Director of Pharmacy Transformation and Chief Officer of Greater Manchester LPC. She was previously the Head of LPC engagement and Collaboration at CPE, Chief Officer of Leicestershire and Rutland Local Pharmaceutical Committee.

Rikki now holds the position of Principal Responsible Officer and provides professional leadership to the team.
Background:
Rikki is registered Pharmacy Technician and qualified Accuracy Checking Technician having 17 years’ experience in both Community and Outpatient Pharmacy settings. Before joining the LPC, Rikki held a management position at Manchester Foundation Trust in both the adult and paediatric outpatient pharmacies where she still holds a part time position.

Karishma’s role including producing effective communications, driving engagement with internal and external stakeholders, championing community pharmacy, engaging the pharmacy network and supporting implementation and compliance to CPCF, contractual requirements and GM developments.
Background:
With a background in media and marketing, Karishma has acquired a solid understanding of how to engage with contractors, cascade messages and create materials to promote key campaigns which benefit Community Pharmacy.

Adrian joined the team in February 2022, undertaking the role of a Business Support Officer (BSO). Adrian is responsible for providing administrative support to the LPC in business activities and projects.
Background:
Adrian holds a BSc in Business Management and an MSc in Project Management, providing him with a strong pedigree of versatile skillsets and a valuable background in management of business operations and executing project plans.
