Community Pharmacy Manifesto

 A Vision for Greater Manchester

As part of our efforts to continually highlight the pivotal role of our powerful pharmacy network in providing essential care to patients, we’ve developed a Community Pharmacy Manifesto and some supporting documents.

These documents detail the key achievements of our pharmacies, our work to tackle health inequalities and help people maintain healthier lives, supporting delivery of the NHS 10-Year Plan, neighbourhoods and of the GM Live Well Programme.

Looking ahead, we’ve outlined our vision of community pharmacy and how when empowered and correctly resourced, we can have an even bigger part to play in the healthcare system, supporting minor Illness, prescribing, prevention, treatment, monitoring of long-term conditions, and urgent care services.
