Levonorgestrel PGD – 01/03/2023 – 01/09/2025 Ulipristal PGD – 01/03/2023 – 01/09/2025 The above PGDs have been approved and authorised for use and replace previous versions which have now expired. These PGDs have been adapted from the nationally approved PGD templates and now include circumstances where off label use may be appropriate. The PharmOutcomes module has been updated so that it is aligned to these latest PGDs and therefore contractors can deliver the service. |

MAT letter for Commissioners 19.03.20 The LPC has confirmed the back payment for Supervised Consumption fees with the commissioner and is awaiting the official documentation Update: Population Health will be making the final supplier relief payments to pharmacies for supervised consumption in mid- October. These payments will be for September. In total, pharmacies that recorded activity in February will have received relief payments for April through to September. From October on, all pharmacies will be paid for supervised consumption based on activity |

This service now supersedes the Minor Eye Condition Service (MECS) The CUES is an extended version of the MECS service which allows remote consultation and uses IT capability to provide a digital service. In some areas, an Independent prescriber may be used to prescribe medicines for the patient. For further details please refer to the service summary, available here Where a medicine is required, Pharmacies will directly be supplying or selling (where appropriate), “Pharmacy only” (P) medicines and General Sales List (GSL) medicines, and the following POMs: chloramphenicol, cyclopentolate hydrochloride, fusidic acid and tropicamide. In these new CUES areas, patients will be provided with a private written order for purchase items over the counter or access the Minor Ailment Service (MAS) in areas where the MAS is commissioned.
